Our Story
Dr. Yoon’s interest in removable prosthodontics (i.e., dentures, partial dentures) began during his residency program. He witnessed first-hand how a well-made set of dentures can positively impact the quality of life for patients suffering from missing teeth.
Prosthodontics is about restoring function and beauty. Dr. Yoon believes dentures, if done properly, can be one of the most conservative ways to achieve those goals for patients with no teeth or severely compromised teeth. After residency, Dr. Yoon quickly realized that many dentists did not prefer or feel comfortable treating patients in need of dentures or partial dentures. He also encountered many dentures that were inadequately fabricated, which often led to patient’s dissatisfaction, frustration, and loss of hope. Realizing how his training in prosthodontics could help those patients in need, Dr. Yoon focused his practice exclusively on removable and implant prosthodontics since 2018. Through the years, Dr. Yoon implemented different clinical and laboratory techniques to continuously improve the quality of the dentures as well as the patient experience.
In 2025, Dr. Yoon established Moonglow Denture Specialists with a vision to deliver high quality dentures, create beautiful smiles, and provide exceptional patient-oriented care. We also pride ourselves on having an on-site lab where an expert technician works directly with Dr. Yoon and the patient to create a truly customized denture--all done in-house!
